Will Tim Tebow succeed or tank as The Broncos starting quarterback? This is a popular question that is drawing plenty of attention from people from all walks of life. Some individuals feel that Tebow is the perfect solution for The Broncos to have an exceptional chance of making the playoffs this season. Some people feel that Tebow lacks the skills that will enable him to be successful as a starting quarterback for The Denver Broncos.

Here are a few points we should consider before making a final decision:

Courage

All successful National Football League quarterbacks in the past and present have displayed a tremendous amount of courage. One needs in courage in order to withstand the pressure that is normally felt in the pocket. Tim Tebow has a tremendous amount of courage. He has displayed his courage in the college ranks and in the professional ranks. His courage can help him make great plays on the field.

Size and Strength

Tebow is larger than the average sized NFL Quarterback. His size and strength will help him be successful with quarterback draws and quarterback keepers. It will also be more difficult for defensive players to bring him down.

Throwing Dynamics

Tim Tebow has been criticized for his throwing dynamics. This has been one of him weaknesses, but he has improved his technique. It is not unusual for great collegiate Read the rest of this entry »

Everything that could have went wrong for the Carolina Panthers in the
2010 season did go wrong. Once a team to be reckoned with in the powerful
NFC South they officially became the worst team in the NFL. Posting a horrible
of 2-14 record, with a defense that felt the impact of losing one of the leagues
best Defensive linemen Julius Peppers there wasn’t any doubt where
they would be hit the hardest.

On the season The Carolina Panthers were ranked 10th in Rushing
defense and 9th in passing Defense. Although they were ranked top
ten in bought pass and rush defense they gave up 1981 rushing yard to
their opponents allowing teams to score 20 touchdowns for the year. In
total they recorded 1091 tackles and forced 14 fumbles which was below
the league average. Lead by veteran pro bowl linebacker James Anderson who
recorded 130 tackles , 3 fumbles, and one interception the panthers
still gave up 408 points to there opponents.

In the secondary the Panthers did a little bit better, ranking 9th overall
in pass defense with 21 interceptions giving up 3393 passing yards to the

In Detroit’s case, a six and ten season could be a sign of turning the corner. They finally won a game away from Ford Field, and ended their season on a four game win streak, beating the eventual super bowl champion Packers in the process.
Can the Detroit Lions defend next year?

Ndamukong Suh
pleased many, becoming the first Lions rookie since Barry Sanders to get elected to the Pro Bowl. He was an All-Pro and named defensive rookie of the year. Hopefully, for Lions fans, he doesn’t morph into a flash in the pan – their defensive unit really needs an anchor like Suh. With the 13th overall pick in this upcoming year’s draft, the Lions have a slew of options at the defensive end position. While Turk McBride is developing nicely, this years draft class is full of talented ends, and Detroit is in need of them to improve their 26th ranked rushing defense. JJ Watt from Wisconsin and Robert Quinn both figure to be on the board when Detroit picks. They could try to trade up in the draft to aquire Da’Quan Bowers from Clemson or Marcell Dareus from Alabama, but that manuever would strongly depend on what the

It was only a year ago that the Saints defeated Peyton Manning and the Colts in the Super Bowl. Unfortunately for them, this off-season brings a much different atmosphere. They are currently known as the team that choked against the Seahawks in Round 1 of the playoffs. Granted, the game was in Seattle, which is a very difficult place to play, but the Saints had a much more talented team and there was no excuse for a loss. They simply weren’t hungry enough. As far as the upcoming season goes, expect the usual from the Saints: great passing offense, good running game, awful defense.
Whos running the ball for the Saints in 2012 12
Let’s focus on the running game. The key to the running game for the Saints is Pierre Thomas. If he was healthy for the game vs. the Seahawks, a lot of things could have been different. The fact is that Pierre Thomas is the heart of that running game despite him being less talented than Reggie Bush. Pierre Thomas runs angry, which lifts the players on his team and makes them want to fight hard along with him. The only problem with Pierre Thomas is that his running style leads to many injuries. If they can keep him healthy in the 2011-2012 season, the Saints will be a force to be reckoned with once again. In order to keep Thomas healthy, the Saints are going to have to run other backs more. The dilemma is that Reggie Bush also gets injured a lot. He gets injured for different reasons, but injured is injured. This is why Julies Jones is so important. He’s not a great back, but he can eat up carries and help keep Thomas and Bush healthy. Jones also sported a 4.0-yard rushing average last season. A lot of this has to

The Cincinnati Bengals suffered a first to worst year in the past season, and have a significant problem with Carson Palmer, who has sworn never to play for the team again. This makes the obvious draft choice for the Bengals, a fresh signal caller.
On The Clock With The Cincinnati Bengals in the 2011 NFL Draft
With their tendency towards taking players with personal problems expect the Bengals to be drooling over boom or bust prospect Cam Newton. He is a guy who fits in with the environment that has been created in Cincinnati He offers a ton of talent, and plenty of personal ego issues. While he may not be the best choice for the Bengals, he seems to fit into their formula.

If Cincinnati gets back to running the ball, Newton could make an even bigger impact on the team. With Cedric Benson taking the brunt of the carries, Newton can

Are the Bengals sane?

debbie On February - 1 - 2011ADD COMMENTS

There is something wrong with the Bengals. I mean didn’t you notice how they are dropping yet still make one mistake decision after another. I heard that some people start calling their decisions “philosophical” and I tend to agree with that more and more. Especially now, when they announced that they just fired their long time offensive coordinator, Bob Bratkowsky.
Are the Bengals sane?

Bratkowsky has been with the team since 2001, two years before their current coach, Lewis joined in and has seen the team through some bad and better seasons.

I always wonder about the dilemmas sport managers have to go through. On one end, their job requires certain stuff from them, to keep the team healthy and playing. To also achieve goals, not only sports ones, financial and many others. To lead and inspire but also to save their butts when the fire comes.
Whose side youre on if your life depends on both?

But what if the fire comes from two sides?

The Jets are on the pitch this Sunday again. They are already in the playoffs so I believe they wouldn’t worry about winning this time (losing is another thing but hey, no one likes that, right?). However, their defense is now losing a grip and this is something they should start thinking of seriously.

A trip from the sluggish Clippers would appear to provide the Blazers one of their finest opportunities to break a worst losing skid. The method in which the Blazers have performed recently, even a victory in that game is far from a certain thing.

While trying to prevent a 7th straight loss, The Blazers will attempt to hold LAC without a win away from home Sunday evening.

Portland’ offensive problems carried on during Friday evening’s 83 – 79 defeat at Washington, who had lost their past 4 games. Even the comeback of C Joel Przybilla from a knee injury which held him out for almost a year did not assist.
